Pearland resident names school in slip-and-fall suit
A Pearland woman is suing over claims she slipped and fell at her daughter's school.
Pearland resident Chandra Thornton Johnson filed a premises liability lawsuit on Friday, April 13 in the Harrison County District Court against The Imani School, The Windsor Village United Methodist Church and others.
Johnson says she sustained serious injuries while dropping her daughter off at The Imani School, located in the 12400 block of South Post Oak Road. According to the brief, she slipped and fell in liquid carelessly left on the floor of the school.
Johnson is seeking damages and court costs. She is being represented in the case by Houston attorney Rahlita Thornton.
