HS boys basketball: Sterling defeats Worthing

Sterling defeated Worthing 80-73 in a boys high school basketball 4-A Bi-district playoff matchup Tuesday, Feb. 21.

Sterling improves to 22-9 overall and 8-3 in district play.

Jason Hawthorne netted a game-high 25 points in the victory.  

With the loss, Worthing finishes the season at 9-16 overall and 6-3 in district play.

Jaten Arrington scored 20 points in the loss.
