Pearland mayor to highlight progress in State of City address

Pearland Mayor Tom Reid will give the annual State of the City address Thursday, Feb. 23.

The event is open to the public and will be held from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at First Methodist Church, 2314 N. Grand Blvd., in Pearland.

Reid will update the Pearland City Council, city staff and the general public about the city’s recent achievements and plans for the coming year.

Pearland City Council Chamber President Carol Artz-Bucek will give special remarks during the event.

Tickets are $25 and include a catered lunch.
