Silvercrest adds 10K to fun run
Silvercrest Elementary, 2337 Galveston Ave., Pearland, has added a 10K to its annual fun run Stallion Stampede fundraiser event, which will be held March 24.
The Pearland Area Running Club is helping the school with the event beginning at Silvercrest Elementary, 3003 Southwyck Parkway, Pearland. The 10K run will start at 7:15 a.m., the 5K event at 7:45 a.m. and the 1-mile walk at 7:50 a.m.
To register for the event, go to signmeup.com and search for Silvercrest Elementary.
There will be a silent auction during the run, which will close at 9 a.m. There will also be a pancake breakfast served from 8-10 a.m.
Proceeds from the event will go toward technology and other capital projects at the elementary school.
