HS boys basketball: Washington defeats Worthing

Washington defeated Worthing 60-47 in boys high school basketball action on Friday, in a District 22-4A match-up.

With the win, Washington ups its record to 12-16 overall and 5-6 in district play.

Donquince Burns scored 18 points in the victory.  

Washington will next visit Furr on Wednesday at 3:30 p.m.

With the loss, Worthing drops to 7-16 overall and 4-4 in district play.

Deshun Allen put up 18 points in the loss.  

Worthing will next host Scarborough on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m.
