HS boys basketball: Chavez defeats Sam Houston
Chavez defeated Sam Houston in high school hoops action Friday.
Chavez, 9-13, 3-6, won the game 52-44.
Demun Mercer scored 32 points for Chavez, who will host Milby Monday.
