Pearland names city Employee of the Quarter

Cyndi Martinez has been named Pearland Employee of the Quarter for the fourth quarter of 2011.

The announcement was made during the mayor’s activity portion of the Monday, Jan. 23 Pearland City Council meeting. Mayor Tom Redi and City Manager Bill Eisen presented Martinez with a plaque and a certificate of honor.

Martinez is a customer services supervisor in the utility billing department. She has been with the city for more than 10 years. She provides direction and leadership and oversaw the launch of the new Interactive voice response system.

The award recognizes employees who exemplify the core beliefs of the city by serving as responsive, results-oriented, trust-building and accountable employees.
