Notable: The pitcher threw 14 innings in two games and had two hits as Pearland swept Dobie in the Class 5A Region III finals to earn its third straight trip to the state tournament.

Micaela Bouvier, Santa Fe: The pitcher had a three-run homer in Game 3 of the Class 4A Region III finals and helped the Indians secure their first berth in the state tournament.

Lexie Comeaux, Tomball: The freshman had an incredible series against The Woodlands, topped off with two home runs and five RBIs in a 9-7 loss on Saturday.

Jessica Snyder, The Woodlands: The infielder played impeccable defense and had two home runs as the Highlanders went 2-1 against Tomball in the 5A Region II Finals and earned a trip to state.
