HS boys basketball playoffs: Worthing falls to Yates
Worthing fell to Yates in the Bi-District playoffs on Monday.
Worthing finishes the season 10-18 overall and 7-6 in district games. Brandon Thompson, a senior guard, scored a game-high 24 points in the loss.
Yates, 25-3 overall and 14-0 in district play, won the game 108-68. Ronnie Lewis, a senior, scored a team-high 16 points in the victory. Tre Bennett scored 15 points, while Shai Fields and Dexter Dennis each added 12 points in the win.
