HS boys basketball: Clear Lake defeats Pearland

Clear Lake defeated Pearland in District 24-5A hoops action on Tuesday.

The Falcons won the game 56-51, moving to 12-9 on the year and 1-1 in district play. Robert Lewis, a senior guard scored 13 points in the victory. Clear Lake will host Alvin on Friday at 7 p.m.

Tuesday’s loss dropped Pearland to 6-13 overall and 0-2 in district games. Derrick Harris, a junior guard, scored 12 points in the defeat. The Oilers will visit Dickinson on Friday at 7 p.m.
