The Courtyard Houston Pearland tops August revenue

The Courtyard Houston Pearland, located at 11200 Broadway, earned the most revenue in August among hotels in Pearland, according to Texas tax records.

The hotel has a capacity of 110 and reported $331,252.17 in receipts for the month and $308,600.67 in taxable receipts.
 
The figures are an increase compared to July when the hotel posted $158,328.63 in receipts and $158,064.33 in taxable receipts.
 
The Hilton Garden Inn, located at 12101 Shadow Creek Parkway, was second with $173,512.35 in receipts and $160,565.83 in taxable receipts
 
Overall, the nine hotels in Pearland earned a total of $966,476.16 in receipts and $881,281.73 in taxable receipts in August compared to $831,340.34 in revenue and $795,241.19 in taxable receipts in July.
 
Included in taxable receipts are traditional room rentals, along with meeting and banquet room rentals. Exempt from taxable receipts are federal government employees, certain state officials, and other exempt organizations and individuals.
