Pearland names October artist of the month
Claudia Zopoaragon, currently a family arts teacher at The Museum of Fine Arts in Houston, has been named the Pearland Artist of the Month for October. Her paintings are primarily nature scenes and portraits and are influenced by her time studying in Bogota, Colombia under Maestro Gillermo Duarte at the Escuela de Bellas Artes.
The Pearland Art League honors Zopoaragon as a creator and contributor in the art community. Through her work as a teacher, she is sharing her talent a passion with future generations of artists. Her work is currently on display at Absolute Restoration and Remodeling at 7924 Broadway, Ste.102.
