Pearland HS graduate completes basic training
Anthony L. Mistretta, a 2008 Pearland High School graduate, recently completed his basic military training.
Army Pvt. Mistretta has graduated from basic training at Fort Sill in Lawton, Oklahoma. He is the son of Kathy Mistretta of W. Sidnor Street in Alvin.
The army private completed the nine-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, and basic warfare principles and skills.
