Police stopped Methany at 9:37 p.m. Tuesday after they said he was unable to stay in his lane while he was driving the van in the 400 block of East Edgewood. When an officer made the traffic stop, he observed Methany acting suspiciously in the vehicle, a Friendswood Police Department press release said.
After Methany gave permission for a search of the vehicle, officers found what they described as a drug pipe and arrested him, the release said. They also found several small bags of methamphetamine powder, with a total weight of 6.8 grams, as well as scales and a price list.
A Pearland canine unit assisted in the case.

There are no drugs in Pearland. That is why we apparently don't need more cops to fight the increase in crime!
