JUNIOR BUCCANEERS WIN CHAMPIONSHIP, FINISHING UP WITH AN UNDEFEATED SEASON!!

2009 PYFA Junior Buccaneers had a very successful season again this year. Completing their season at the Gulf Coast Premier Football League (GCPFL) Gold Super Bowl in Pearland at the Rig, on Sunday 11-15-09, this Junior Buccaneer team went undefeated 11-0 by winning the Super bowl. This team scored an impressive 417 points offensively, and amazingly enough only allowed a total of 25 points defensively, including the super bowl game.

This group of 10 year old boys was labeled by many of the officials as the most disciplined team they had the opportunity of meeting. These boys worked hard all season and learned much more than the ability to win, they built character, friendship, and great work ethic. It goes without saying that every child on this team has built memories that will last a lifetime. The coaches, parents, and families of these boys are extremely proud of them and their accomplishments.

The Junior Buccaneers would like to thank the community for the outstanding turnout at the Super bowl and filling our stands with support.

Our team would also like to congratulate the other PYFA winners in the GCPFL Silver Super Bowl: Freshmen Buccaneers White; Sophomore Buccaneers; Junior Raiders. In addition to these there were a couple of teams coming in runner up at the Silver Super bowl; Freshmen Buccaneers Red; Senior Buccaneers White.
